Acceptance of Wine Shipments

You can elect to have your wine shipped directly to CWS where we receive it on your behalf at no charge. Once your wine is delivered, we will notify you via your preferred preference (email or phone) for further direction.

We can place the wine in your locker if we have access; otherwise we will hold it in a private locker until you are able to come to the facility and move it to your locker. The facility can also accept pallets in the event you have a large shipment or are consolidating your shipment with other CWS clients.

For clients who are moving into or out of the area CWS works with the largest national moving companies that specialize in refrigerated transport. The facility is able to receive pallets to make those large shipments easier and more economical.

Please let us know if you purchase wine from out of state retailers as there are opportunities to consolidate your wine with other clients onto a pallet. When we are able to consolidate shipments it usually reduces your cost to less than UPS ground rates plus the wine is refrigerated during transit. This allows year round shipping and receiving so you don’t have to worry about your wine sitting in a warehouse for several months.
