Safe, Secure, Accessible

Convenient location – Classic Wine Storage is located near the Southlake Town Square. Plenty of free parking and we are only five minutes from the DFW Airport. Remember, with our refrigerated van it makes the facility location irrelevant as we can come to you at anytime.

Convenient hours of operation – CWS clients can access their lockers from 6 AM to 10 PM, 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Personal Locker Options – CWS clients have the option of storing their wine in cases or in racks, or a combination of both.  We suggest leaving your long-term wines—the ones you don’t plan on touching for a few years or more—in case storage and placing your near-term drinking wines in our racked configuration for easy access.  We offer several sizes of lockers, so we can customize a solution to match the size of your current collection and add storage space as your collection increases in size.

Temperature & Humidity – We’ve installed redundant, state-of-the-art cooling systems (meaning only one was required per the cooling load analysis but three are installed). Temperature is maintained at an ideal 53° – 57° F year round to ensure perfect storage conditions for your wines.  The systems are monitored with two separate temperature monitoring systems with the liquid bottle temperature constantly monitored and displayed on the website.

Provenance – Proving that your wine has been stored under optimal conditions is easy for CWS clients.  By installing the CellarSensor monitoring system allows us to display the liquid bottle temperature on the webiste in near real-time so you can check the environmental conditions from any internet connection. You are also able to review the historical conditions of the facility by visiting the CellarSensor site.

Backup Power – While power outages are not common, unexpected storms, heat waves triggering rolling blackouts and even car accidents could leave the facility without power.  As a safeguard we have a 25kW natural gas generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply within the building. The generator has an automatic transfer switch that monitors the incoming power supply and, if there is an interruption greater than 20 seconds, automatically switches power to the generator.

Security – We have installed state-of-the art security and fire suppression systems in place with 24/7 monitoring. Multiple video cameras are constantly monitoring the facility along with motion and glass break detectors. Each of these systems are monitored remotely to ensure your collection is safe and secure. Access to the facility is limited to clients and their authorized agents.  If you would like to schedule a visit please call or email us to set up a time that works best for you.

Temperature controlled transport - Temperature variation—specifically extreme heat or cold—are the arch enemies of wine.  To ensure that your wines are always safe, CWS transports your collection in a refrigerated, temperature controlled van to and from your home or any other location within the DFW Metroplex.  No other wine storage facility offers this level of quality control, so you don’t have to worry about spoilage of your liquid assets.

Private Client / Wine Tasting Room – Available for use by CWS clients free of charge.  We have Reidel Restaurant Series wine glasses available for client use.
